The next step in the process was to design the functionality on Mobile because being on a mobile devices, there is a lot of different functions, using the gyroscope, touch controls and even the simplicity of how you use those touch controls, like swiping and tapping so designing this came with a few challenges.

How can designation of certain functions work, obviously I had to what buttons and feedback was necessary for the player.

What to consider:

  • Acceleration

  • Brake

  • Ability 1

  • Ability 2

  • The Ultimate attack

  • Settings

  • Quit

This was all considered as part of the game screen not the general menu. Below are some concept drawings
